i really can't tell you how inspired i feel when i hear jeremy play. his concert was so beautiful. it's the greatest feeling in the world. a little over a year ago i saw him for the first time and that night was the night i decided to become a painter. i think it was a combination of how overwhelmingly beautiful his music is and how inspiring it felt to see him (and other people) my own age doing something so ambitious and brave. i guess you could say that mr. larson changed my life... and that was all before we officially met. it's an honor to be involved with his music. he's the most talented person i know, so it feels good to be challenged a little bit more each day to work hard and to do the things that i really love.

it's saturday. i spent the whole week in houston with my friend, carrie, trying to get inspired and stuff... that felt good... sometimes i get so overwhelmed and it's good to have a little pause. this week i am planning to not make plans, only art. :D

concert this friday...

hey everyone... i just wanted to let all of my Springfield friends know that Jeremy is playing a (rare) concert this friday night at Randy Bacon's. I haven't seen him play since we were in Nashville, plus he is playing some of my very favorite brand new songs... i can't wait!

and i feel really really lucky because my other most favorite local band is opening for him. It's their CD release show. I love their new album, Paul, so much! magic.


I hope to see some of you at the show!! :D

well, it's a holiday today (yay!) and i am finishing up some new Love, Elsie projects and working on a new set of treasure map paintings for fun! what are you up to?

it's been such a busy week! first of all....my baby brother, doren, graduated from highschool!

jeremy and i went to his best friend, wess', wedding.

(and he took this one.... caught me off guard, sleepy face! :D)

i am so proud of rachel... she did some cute stuff here.... sooooo cute!

some new design books that i really really looooove....

and i took a little road trip for the week to hang out with my lovely friend, carrie...




but don't worry, i packed a huge picnic basket with all my best art supplies.... i am really looking forward to this week! :D
