Elsie,
If you like those straws, and you like starbucks, you might be interested in something coming out from sbucks soon. It's the reusable Iced grande + venti cup with a candy cane straw like the one you posted. Each store is only getting one shipment, and they will go FAST cause they're already in such high demand. It's november 17, first come first serve if you're interested!

Love the trees! Thanks for posting the link! I'm going to whip some up for my front room!

My husband is a big fan of cardinals since they were his grandpa's favorite bird. It's one of the reasons I love decorating for Christmas. I get to put out all our cardinal pillows!

1) If you haven't yet, you should check out the Charley Harper Estate in Cincinnati. It is rad to the max.

2) Speaking of things that are rad to the max, I am making your faux bois rug! I cut out the patterns and taped it down to the rug. Now I just have to buy brown spray paint and wait for a still day!

I made one of the holiday trees last night and filled it all with rice. It was a hit with my friends, they were all squishing it and tossing it and playing with it! They love it!
I can't wait to make more to put around my Christmas tree!! =D

I have two sets of cards from Charley Harper: The Feeding Station (1954) and Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska. All of the prints are amazing. I picked these up at the DWELL convention in LA this summer. I wanted the cardinals, but somebody snagged it before I could :/

Kristin Gilbertson

I love Charley Harper! I bought his alphabet cards at a museum in Chicago and have a few framed around my house. Great images! I was just turned on to your blog by Kristin Gunderson. Here's mine, just started, still figuring it out. http://www.appletreestaging.blogspot.com

I am adding you to my blogroll pronto!
