I love love love autumn - it's the sweetest of seasons for me.
One of the things I most love doing this season is making jam and feeling the smell of pumpkin, cinnamon or apple in the air. Another little pleasure is stepping on crispy leaves on the streets. I also love how, gradually, the clothing starts changing and how I start adding more layers as the weather gets chillier.

There is *nothing* like raking up all of the autumn leaves NOT to dispose of them, but to JUMP in them! My children are happy jumpers- and by the time they're ready to come inside with little pieces of crunchy-leaf-leftovers on their sweaters, I've got cranberry bread toasted and buttered for them (and me, munch munch!). Bring on the red, gold, yellow, sienna and black flecks- love those leaves!
