I just realized I never posted these photos from Aunt Martha's Pancake House when Emma and Holly came to visit in the fall. It's a charming little breakfast diner that I love so much. Historic restaurants my favorites. I want everyone to try it at least once! :)
ps. i am having a studio weekend so i'll share lots of fun stuff. Monday will be a blog party! Details soon.... xo. elsie

I love these kinds of retro spots. Thanks for posting the photos - they're terrific!

I'd love to visit a pancake house like this if I ever can save up enough money to visit the States...I'm a bit of a pancake and pastry addict, and those little syrup dispensers are so cute! The red doors are also very adorable :)

This place is so charming! I love eattries like this. Detroit has a bunch of little antique places in the city that I love to frequent.
And a blog party - I can't wait! I'll be there :)

this place reminds me of my town's beloved 50's retro diner called Metro Diner! it was located right on route 66, too. :( sadly, they tore it down because of expansion work from the college next door. best malt shakes in the midwest!

OMg... I miss that place sooo much! Used to be my fav breakfast place when I lived there! Thanks for posting this and bringing back some awesome memories of me, my husband and my good friends Jen and Nathan Falter of Springfield Pottery. :)
