NICE... since it is Wed. here now - TODAY National Chocolate Cake Day here in Canada. And I know that I, for one, am going to be ready to celebrate. I think that it was a genius idea – picking a non-descript, cold winter’s day in late January to celebrate something as enjoyable and smile-making as chocolate cake.

Who is making me a cake?? really, i will be grateful for whatever comes my way.. like a giveaway wrapped in brown...

Chocolate brown is my favorite!! I have one wall in my living room painted that color, the rest are tan. Makes the room very cozy!

My living room was done in tan and one wall was chocolate brown. I am now living with robin egg blue walls with chocolate brown curtains. It is brighter and makes me happier.

I made chocolate zucchini cupcakes with blueberries last night.... had no idea it was National Chocolate Cake Day today. I was just feeling bad that my 8 yr old had no treats in her lunch. And guess what her favorite colour is? Brown! (Strange for a litte girl - but she has been known to wear it head to toe.)
