Hi there! We've had such a product week and wanted to pop in and share a quick progress report for our Red Velvet Spring collection. Last weekend we filmed the lookbook video. It's a short music video that introduces the collection in an saturated 1960s pop culture way! We teamed up with Brandon Goodwin for this project and it was sooo much fun to conceptualize and style. Here are a few sneak peeks from the shoot (more peeks here).
FUN! We had butterflies all night and afterwards we all went out for french fries and milk shakes to celebrate!
Designs and pattens have been made and finalized. So what's next? Mallory is in production mode right now. She has been cutting and sewing like a mad woman all week. It's sort of a fantastic task for one lady to sew 160+ pieces in a months time, but she's a pretty super lady! Above you can see her holding all the collars for just the velvet dresses.... wowzers.
Our team is also working on coordinating accessories for the release. We're all super excited and working really well together.
Photo shoots start this week, so pretty soon we'll have official collection photos and a photography lookbook. It's been the most magical experience ever. I'll let you in on a little secret.... I'm addicted and already planning the next collection. When Rachel asked me if I could see us doing this for the next five years, I replied "without a doubt"!

Congratulations! That is such a huge accomplishment to have come this far, you should be very, very proud. I've worked in the fashion industry for 11 years with both big brands and small homegrown brands, and it is always exciting to shoot a look book. So fun!

The dresses are coming in the largest range of sizes we could do (depends on the style), plus we're doing a t-shirt dress line that comes in s-xl. <3
