I'm super excited to share that I've teamed up with Shape What's To Come by Levi's to bring you a fun Earth Day contest! The theme is How do you combine style and sustainability? I want to see how you ReStyle and wear vintage to put together stylish outfits and lifestyle pieces, like furniture.
Entering is easy... from now until Earth Day, Friday, April 22nd, simply tweet how you re-style old furniture, work the vintage look or even buy from local merchants and include the #SWTC hashtag and http://bit.ly/SWTCEarthDay. Want extra entries? Blog, Facebook, post a photo to Flickr or create a YouTube video and tweet a link to your post with the #SWTC hashtag. We’ll announce the three lucky winners on Monday, May 2nd!
The three winners will receive a custom Levi’s® Sustainable Fashion pack! I can't wait to hear about your ReStyled projects! Anything you've made for Project ReStyle would make a great entry!
In celebration of Earth Day I'll also be sharing a special DIY project too! Can't wait... Good luck to everyone! XO, elsie

Oh wow, this is so exciting!! I love to shop vintage and reuse/restyle as much as possible.
I'm excited for your DIY!! xx

I will have to participate in this one! I am currently in the process of re-doing some lamps! I just moved into a new apartment, so I'd like to do ALL of my place in restyled furniture & decor!

Vintage is obviously the best way to reuse & recycle... but there are so many companies that now offer clothing/accessories from renewable resources ... now that is theartofbeingfashionable.com!

I love to buy thrift tshirts and make skirts, bags, or tank tops out of them. Jeans usually become skirts, handbags, or shorts.
I just taught my self how to properly sew, so I am always online looking for new ideas!

Hi. I've only just discovered your blog this morning and it's brilliant! I'm an artist, currently moving into a new flat and starting my own blog. Your blog is so helpful and the most diverse I've come across, it's just jam packed full of everything! So cheers, you've gained another follower :)
