Welcome to our wedding ceremony. I'm excited to share it with you, my blog readers! It was so incredibly special and, as everyone says, it was over in a snap! I'm super thankful for these photos, songs and memories that I have to keep. Without further ado....
As our guest entered there were two flights of stairs. On the landing of the first flight we used this vintage organ (it's been hollowed out and we got it for free) as a display piece. There were jars with tea lights, flowers and wedding photos from our family.
The entry and guest book table were decorated with handmade and vintage bird themed decor. I love the quote "Birds Of A Feather Flock Together." It was perfect for our occasion. There were feathers and birds everywhere, in the flower girl baskets, in people's hair, boutonnieres, decor and more....
This first song is the song that played as our grandparents, parents, wedding party, flower girls and ring bearer entered the room. It's one of our favorite Camera Obscura songs.
One of my favorite details was our white feather aisle. The flower girls tossed colored feathers. It was magical!

Wow, Elsie! These photos are magical!
What a beautiful day, it looks like you two made it incredibly special and meaningful. ♥
I am in awe because your wedding looked so perfect and I love everything about it, from the venue, to the deco, to the flower girls tossing feathers <3 And the picture that had the bridesmaids carrying their flowers is soooo beautiful! :)
My wedding was a little hazy too, its so good to have all the pictures to remember it by. Your wedding looked beautiful! I love the one at the end where everyone threw blue confetti.
We also played "two doves" at our wedding ceremony last September. Later last fall we were lucky enough to see the Dirty Projectors on tour. We know Angel who sings lead on that song, we told her that we played it and she got a little embarassed! It was really sweet
I love the family wedding portraits! Such a great way to commemorate two families coming together. I love seeing what people select music wise for their weddings. I will have to fit a Joanna Newsom song, somewhere in mine. Maybe "Bridges and Balloons", I think that would make a lovely wedding song.
