This past week Emma and I started working from my home two days a week. It's a nice change of pace and suki (our pug) loves it too! I took some quick snapshots of things I've been loving.... color, new watercolor sketches and making sun tea on my porch.
Today Jeremy ripped the carpet out of my soon-to-be closet. We are going to paint the wood floors white and I should be able to set it up by the end of this week! I'm so happy that our little house is becoming a home. XO, elsie

I do like those watercolour sketches - paintings or dresses? I agree working from home is quite the change of atmosphere - perfect for summer :) I am curious about 'sun tea': a big drinker of black tea (well, I am English!) I have not really got into drinking my tea cold/iced. I do like the sound of sun tea though - it must be very refreshing on a hot day :)

Sweet! I love the watercolor sketches. So beautiful. Summertime sun tea is simply delightful, too!

I would buy those watercolor pieces. I love them. I need to take an art class, because I would love to create pieces similar to this. But alas! I am seriously challenged in this department. =\ I love admiring your work though.

I've been dying to paint our master bedroom hardwoods. The mister is adamantly against this. Do a post on your floors to help me convince him otherwise!!!!
