I just moved into a house that has a weird little 'alcove' recessed into the wall in the dining room. It's got a spotlight above it, and it's just tall enough that I couldn't find ANYTHING that looked right... something like this could totally work. Thanks!

Great idea!!! You can also do this by using and embroidery hoop if you would like to have a circle shape chandelier. I would have never thought of using an oven rack...I like it!
