We're thinking that navy is the new black. :) I mean, it's a great neutral to pair with stripes or polka dots (or neons for Spring!) but it's not as serious as black. We are absolutely loving navy right now, so Elsie and I decided to show off our navy-love with two outfits: one totally casual and one a little more office-chic!
I layered a denim dress over a long-sleeve top. I like layering this time of year because the weather is beginning to warm up, but can still be a bit unpredictable. And I love how the stripes on my top added a little more interest to my otherwise neutral outfit. I'm a little crazy for stripes right now-obsession!
Emma's wearing: Dress/Threadsence, Top c/o StyleMint (first time buyers get 20% off your first T with the code MESSY20, offer good through 2/29), Shoes c/o Lotta from Stockholm, Hat/Vintage, Bag c/o Kelly Moore.

Love how both of you have similar shoes :) and I'm definitely mixing in more pops of RED- just got a new pair of red ballet flats and I can't stop wearing them around!

I have a lot of navy in my wardrobe, I really like it- it's a lot softer than black.

Just gorgeous girls! I'm feeling the same way about navy right now. It's my new favourite colour! And it goes with just about everything. Especially loving those shoes!

I'm enjoying the neutrals and pale pastels A LOT! I plan on adding more if the finances permit. A trip to the thrift store and consignment shop would easily solve that :)

Both lovely but I think Esies outfit is more my style. I will have to re-visit navy, having green eyes I worry that I shouldn't wear blue but I say poo to what I should be doing because I like blue!
Keep styling

Ps - will there be a spring Red Velvet line soon fingers crossed x

Navy is the black for summer i always think--its not as harsh as black and looks great with everything.
Love these looks, especially the clog sandals

Lately, my favorite color combo is a fuschia top with my favorite electric yellow cardigan. I'm not so generally into brights but I am itching for spring time. Grey is my most favorite (and abundant) neutral by far but navy is growing on me, indeed.

I have loved navy recently, and wear it way more than black now. LOVE both outfits, esp that bow tie top :-)
