Travel Outfits

Hi friends! I'm packing up for a little 2 day trip with my husband this weekend! I haven't seen him in a month (eek!) so this is very exciting. When I pack for a weekend I like to lay out all my outfits with accessories and everything. Does anyone else do this? It seems to be the only way I can remember all the little details. I snapped some photos while packing this morning...

I feel so lucky to have found a man who enjoys vintage shopping! I made sure to book a hotel near lots of good vintage and record stores too. You should see Jeremy's collection of vintage ties... it's surreal!

Here's a little date night outfit. I made a huge list of restraunts in the area we are staying. We have way too many favorites... Indian, Thai, Sushi... It's impossible to choose! What's your favorite?

Here's a comfy travel outfit. I like to wear easy cotton dresses when traveling... no boots and no tight jeans! Those are my only rules. I bought Jeremy all his favorite girl scout cookies last week (awee!). Travel snacks are important. Have you tried these cucumber face wipes? They're super refreshing and perfect for travel.

Actually do I never really plan what kind of outfit I really want to wear, I only think: "Take something for every occasion and weather - you never know what happens during a trip.". And this is why I carry so much stuff around with me, even for weekendtrips.
Maybe I should give your method a try!

love it! I do this exact same thing for traveling! otherwise I know I'll get there and feel overwhelmed trying to decide what to wear when I really should be having fun! ADORE that second look... so cute!
