Star Crossed Lovers

I don't usually blog about random inspiration these days, but this new colletion from Wildfox was too good not to share. The collection is called Star Crossed Lovers and it's due out Fall 2012. The 90s in me went a little crazy when I first saw this shoot. I love the Romeo and Juliet themes. The whole photo shoot is sickeningly inspiring and that hoodie will be mine. XO. elsie PS. I've definitely been inspired by the early 90's recently! I wasn't allowed to really wear whatever I wanted until high school (late 90's) & I missed out on getting to tie my button up shirts in the front- I've honestly probably been doing it a little too much now!

I <3 the 90s; Romeo + Juliet is still one of my favorite movies. Claire Danes was so classic. This collection is so much fun! I especially love the throwback shot with the guy dressed in armor. He even looks like a young Leo in that pic. So excited Baz Luhrmann made the new Gatsby! Can't wait!

I fall hard for new 90's inspired fashion. Ditsy florals, plaid, corduroy, and Dr. Martens! I never like the fashion in the 90's, but it holds so much nostalgia now, and memories of times that were both more and less complicated. :)
