These past few months have been anything but normal. There's been lots of travel and deadlines and plenty of new projects. And we have loved every minute of it! With that said, today is a day I've been looking forward to. It feels so... normal. Today I'll go grocery shopping and work on blog posts most of the daylight hours. I love that. It's simple. It's normal. It's nice. There are certain comforts in routine.... xo. elsie

i know what you mean about life going back to normal after a whirlwind of creative works... there is something delightful about grocery shopping, or doing the dishes after that... at your own pace, and not always in a rush. enjoy it!

I travel full-time, roaming the world for the unusual and different but sometimes, just sometimes, there is nothing better than a "normal" day of familiar things and familiar people!
Enjoy the normality x

I always find myself looking forward to the routine of Mondays after unscheduled weekends...so I can only imagine how nice it feels after months of the other. I love those peach sunglasses in the last shot as well! Hope you are sipping that Starbucks and feeling productive:)

Me too! A day without meetings, obligations, or evening teaching means that I get to pretend I work a 9-5. There is definitely goodness in normal- as long as it's not forever.

Yes, there absolutely are comforts in routine. But sometimes, I also like stressed days which are full of program.

This post has that relaxed feeling the way I do when the busy Holiday season is over for my cheese counter. It just feels good to be back to business as usual...well, for a little while.
Cheers!
