today i said bye-bye to my super messy bedroom (see above... oh my!) and left for Chicago with my favorite boy. it's a 9 hour drive, so we spent most of our day in the car....

and then... out of nowhere, something AMAZING appeared....
an antique mall, but that's not all...
an antique mall made out of a converted school (at least, i'm pretty sure... it looks just like a school gymnasium with stage inside). also included, an AMAZING ice cream cone stand and space ship! i was in my own personal heaven.
we did some quickie shopping and then got ice cream cones to go. jeremy had vanilla and i had birthday cake.
best day ever. ever. ever. XO. elsie
ps. tomorrow we're exploring Chicago all day! i'm excited. we have a huge list of places to visit (thank you for the great suggestions!). i'm a little behind on e-mail, so if you're waiting for a response please be patient. i'll catch up this weekend! L O V E youuuu.
